Hi, I’m Jen,

the person behind Everyday Ease.

And, I get it.

Not in a ā€œI’ve read some articles about itā€ kind of way.

In a ā€œthis has been my life, my family, my peopleā€ kind of way.

And that changes everything about how I show up for you.

Empathetic. Curious. Really good at listening.

I’m an introvert who is endlessly fascinated by people. (I know, it sounds weird; a bit of a contradiction). But hear me out: I don’t need to be surrounded by people to love them. I just need to be truly present with them. And that’s something I’ve always been able to do.

One-on-one is my sweet spot. When it’s just the two of us, there are no distractions - I’m fully there, fully focused on you. People feel safe around me, and I think that’s one of the most important qualities I bring to this work. I also believe that hard things don’t have to feel heavy all the time. We’ll get things done, for sure, but we’ll also keep it light ;). Life’s too short not to enjoy the process a little.

Who I Am

This didn’t come from nowhere. It came from everything.

Where It Began

When my son came into the world, I knew pretty quickly that he was going to indeed more from me than I knew how to give at the time. Not because I wasn’t capable - but because I hadn’t done the work on myself yet. So I did the work. Years of reading, counseling, and soul searching. I began learning about ADHD from the ground up, starting with the people I loved most.

The Hard Part

I went through a divorce. I went back to school. I rebuilt. I took on a job role in a toxic environment, and after pushing so hard for so long, I finally gave myself permission to stop. To rest. To actually breathe for a minute. And in that stillness, everything became clear.

The Lightbulb Moment

I was sitting quietly - finally, properly still - thinking about my son, my family, my friends.

All the people in my life with ADHD who are brilliant, creative, hilarious, warm human beings who also happen to be completely underwater with the everyday stuff. And it just hit me. Like a lightbulb, like a full-body knowing - I can help these people. This is what I’m supposed to do. I have never doubted it for a single second since.

ā€œNo one in this world has all the answers. We are all different, and we all deserve to live our lives in a way that’s authentic to us. If that means reaching out for support - there should be absolutely no shame in that.ā€

My Story

The qualities that matter most in this kind of work.

A real listener

Not the kind who’s thinking about what to say next. The kind who actually hears what’s underneath what you’re saying.

Genuinely empathetic

I’ve sat with people I love while they struggled. I understand the shame, the guilt, the confusion, and exhaustion of it all. You won’t feel judged here. Ever.

Keeping it light

Getting through your to-do list doesn’t have to feel like a chore. We’ll make sure to have a good time, and find moments of ease along the way - because that’s the whole point!

Grounded and present

When everything feels chaotic, I’m calm. I’ll help you find the first step - and then the next one. One thing at a time.

Curious about you

I’m genuinely interested in how your brain works - not to fix it, but to work with it. Your brain isn’t broken. It just needs the right support. In your corner, fully.

I’m not a bystander in our session. I’m right there with you - present, engaged, and rooting for you the whole time.

Who I Am

Lived experience with ADHD

My son, members of my family, and many of my closest friends have ADHD. This has been my world for years.

Years of leadership and management experience

Customer-facing management roles across gyms, spas, and salons - always leading, always serving people.

Human Resources diploma

Formal HR education through BCIT that deepened my understanding of people, workplaces, and what support actually looks like in practice.

Collaboration with ADHD professionals

I work with a therapist who is herself a working professional with ADHD, and whose children have ADHD, too. That relationship keeps my approach grounded in real, lived experience.

Deep self-directed study

Dr. Russell Barkly and other credible, evidence-based sources. Not random internet rabbit holes - real experience.

Entrepreneurial training

Small business management training through BCIT, including entrepreneurial management, accounting, and HR fundamentals.

What I bring to this work

If any of this resonated - even a little - I’d love to meet you. No pressure. Just a conversation together to see how this feels.
